- May 15 - May Crowning. Please send in dresses and suits in a labeled bag. We will get changed after recess. Please sign in at the front if you would like to help get your child ready!
- Class Picnic! The second grade will be having a class picnic on June 3rd. All are welcome! Bring your picnic blankets. We are going to be having our picnic outside behind the Pre-K and K building. We will be able to have lunch and an icecream party! Check your email for infor from homeroom moms about pizza and ice cream!! Pizza orders went home Monday 5/13

2C UPDATE
Thank you for choosing a Catholic school for your child!
In Religion we are finishing up chapter 17! We are learning about the Holy Spirit and the gifts we are given. Some of these gifts include wisdom, healing, and knowledge.
We are starting Theme 5 in reading! The common theme in this unit is families! It is fun to read and learn about eachother's family. Also, to build fluency and speed while reading, make time for you and your student to read TOGETHER!
Our chapter in Math is hundreds! Please keep practicing math facts! This will help the students be even more ready for multiplication in third grade.
In Social Studies we are going to be talking about States. The students did an EXCELLENT job on their state projects! Please stop by during special persons day this week to check out our collection of the fifty nifty United States! In Science we are learning about weather!
Our next project is a "book butterfly" book report. Please let your child choose a new book to read, read it together, and fill out the butterfly poster with all of the information about the story.
